Footers

Did anyone have a chance to see where some of the footers are placed? It's hard to tell in a number of the pics seen.

Just wanted to see if there was a layout by way of footers of the ride.

If your not having fun, what are you having?

All the footers I've seen line straight up with the right side of the tower.

2002 25 minute MF rides: 1
2002 45 minute waits on Raptor platform w/o riding: 1
2002 trips to the point: not near enough
2002 Raptor Crew??? Oh yeah, you know it...

There are two long rows of footers. From the Iron dragon area, they line up with the track on the one side and the poles on the other side of the tower.

There are some marking on the midway that resemble footer points, there even is a couple right next to corkscrew's turn to the lift.

The layout is still a mystery, as it could possibly be just a tophat, or could be longer. We'll find out soon enough about the stats layout ect.

Those markings on the midway are not for footers. They are for surveying purposes. The surveying crew sets up their equipment and lines up their plumbline over top of the nail driven into the cement. If you look by the Magnum bathrooms there are even a few right in front of the door to the womens' restroom. I doubt that they're putting a footer in the potty.

And who says they can't move a restroom?
Do the footers farthest from the path seem to have a larger diameter than the ones closer to the top hat, meaning that larger supports would be used, which could equal a large height change.
tambo, moving all that plumbing, although CAN be done, isn't likely going to be done. That's kinda pushing the limit of expectations.

Considering CP and the ride companies (Intamin) are darned good about ride placement, I'm pretty sure they can manage to build a coaster without the hassle of moving restrooms.

I've worked in CP's maintenance dept and believe me a restroom move is not pushing the limit of expectations.
