foot massager

Has anyone seen the foot massaging barrels in frontier land, near the Mine Ride and the Weight Guessing game. You sit down, take your shoes off place your feet on the metal foot plate and insert a quarter. It vibrates and massages your feet for about a minute. It's a quarter well spent!
Lol, yes I seen, and used them before I use them about halfway through the day every time I stay at the park from open to close it's like,... and new pair of feet for the rest of the day.

The way I put it Six Flags needs more parks to keep up with the one and only Cedar Point :)
I don't think you are meant to take your shoes off. That is why they are so strong, they are meant to work with your shoes on. Its kind of a health issue to have everyone taking their shoes off to use these things.

Is there any kind of sign posted that says not to take your shoes off? (not trying to be a smartypants just don't know) I always wondered how aggravated the employees in that shop must get after hearing that ultra-loud vibration throughout the store all day long.

I'm not sure, but I think common sense should tell you that - unless of course you'd enjoy sharing 1000s and 1000s of people's foot germs. Who knows what kind of funk they might have. Yuck.

Tell that to the people in and around Soak City...

nothing like smimming in a big toilet with a bunch of little kids!
Yes, at the foot massagers, there is a sign that says to leave your shoes on. I have used it many times with my shoes on, and its great. Its about the only decent thing in the park that is cheap.

You can feel the ground shaking even when your 7 feet away from those things!
Yeah, foot germs...(once again not being a smartypants) There's a much bigger threat I would think than this. For instance, how many times have you put your hands on any part of the handrails at CP and without thinking, rubbed your eyes or nose or mouth or worse yet, you go to lunch and forget to wash your hands before you eat? Kinda makes your hair stand up don't it?

Not really. That is what immune systems are for.

Foot germs are different from...other germs. You can get all types of fungi from other people's feet and with the warm weather, things don't get any better. It's the same with your hands but that is what your immune system is there for if you ingest any germs.

Yeah. I know about the fungii, and was specifically referring to the handrails. The fungii you can receive from sharing bathroom floors and crap is reallly disgusting. That DOES make my hair stand up :) but, i'm not one of those people who worry about door handles at stores, handrails at an amusement park, etc. Those germ fanatics are a bit off the deep end, IMO.
