Head over to CP's Facebook page. At first they were deleting our comments about their food prices. When they realized people were getting pissed and when we started pointing out that censoring the discussion could turn into a PR nightmare, they started letting the comments roll in.
Please be civil. I can understand that why Cedar Point delted half the comments such as the ones that said " Cedar F****** Sucks with their Food Prices" etc..
I'm surprised it took this long. That's the risk of using all of this Intertubes stuff, because it can turn on you just as much as it can help you.
And I'm glad to see that the apologists for the park are everywhere. "its a park 2 have fun not complane about teh pricez!!!11!!" :)

Those are the kids who have their parents pay for the food. Duh they aren't going to care about prices when they don't pay for it.
Let's Get Weird.
How is the Chip thing they mention in the point cast that will be in part 2?
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
Actually, I thought the pricing at the Chippery was pretty fair. Don't remember what it was exactly, but I think it was in the neighborhood of $3. Definitely worth it.
I still haven't been in there, but that does sound about right. I think that's what I paid at Hershey for their chips as well.

The prices for the Chippery aren't all too bad, and I've heard some good things about the chips. I believe someone here earlier this season (around opening weekend) mentioned they were some of the best potato chips they had ever had. I have yet to try them, but have been in there a few times.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
The Chippery is a only a bit more than you'd pay for a regular bag of chips of the same size but they ARE worth it. Those chips are extremely delicious.
I'm glad Tony split it into 2 parts cause the second is going to be hilarious.....trust me. A certain somebody from this site makes a cameo to test try some chips and it's quite funny how things progress.;)

YAY!! It's finally up! Took long enough. (I'm not blaming you Tony, I know you were busy):)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p06D9nvBjlk

Great cameo.
I don't think the Chippery prices are unreasonable at all. Some of our newer Kroger stores in this area have homemade potato chips in their hot food area and they sell for $3.99 for a small bowl of chips.
Please remain in your seat until the ride comes to a complete and final stop.

Sorry it's late. I was spending too much time preparing for an announcement. Which is almost ready.
Hmm...Chippery chips and Whyte Lightning. Probably a bad combo.

^^Oh not at all, they're delicious! ALL chips at the Chippery are delicious in my opinion.....even if they don't sound appealing. Sea salt, malt vinegar, ketchup, bbq and I think sour cream.
The best was what you didn't see after I INHALED all those chips. I was literally chocking on them and they were flying out my mouth. The 3 chip combination sapped every bit of moisture out of my mouth and I couldn't taste anything all day. But it was all worth it.:D

The major chip brands (or at least Lays, as I recall) have been selling ketchup chips in Canada for many, many years. It was something I'd bring home on trips to Windsor or Niagara Falls every time, along with Heinz ketchup (much better formula than the US version), Canadian (now available here anyway) and Kit-Kat bars. Everything is just a little different, generally because they don't use certain preservatives.

Nicely done Adam. And I've been eating ketchup chips since I was a kid. I had no idea they weren't sold in the US. I guess it's just like the way I stock up on Cherry Coke or Wild Cherry Pepsi at Meijer whenever I go to CP. They stopped selling both here several years ago.
And Jeff, did you know Heinz Ketchup sold in Canada is slightly sweeter than the one sold in the US? I read that on a ketchup package the other day. And I also read in the paper yesterday that the Heinz plant in Leamington will now only produce ketchup for Canada, they will no longer export to the US. All US production is being done at their plant in Fremont, OH.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
