Does anyone know if any of the "independent" commercial restaurants in the park accept their own coupons? Specifically, will the locations like Chick-fil-a, Johnny Rockets take one of their coupons at the park location? I have a Johnny Rockets coupon for a free milkshake that was emailed to me and the coupon doesn't have any restrictions. I can share the link if anyone asks... but not sure if it's against any forum policy.
Thanks,
Matt
I doubt that you can use it, you could always try though. I know for a fact that you cannot use coupons at the TGI Fridays in Breakers though.

But you can use a Starbucks gift card at the one in the park. Worst thing they can do is say no. What I really need though is to be able get my platinum pass discount at the Quaker Steak in Columbus.
Gift cards are completely different than coupons, though. Gift cards are comparable to cash valid at that chain; the park gets the full advertised price from corporate when used at Cedar Point. Coupons, on the other hand, may not be fully reimbursed - especially when they're good for a set price instead of a discount, since the park's pricing tends to be higher than other locations.
I presume that Starbucks rewards (free items) also are not valid at Cedar Point.
