Fog over Sandusky Bay

Did you see the low hanging fog this evening? What it they sent a train up the original spike, and it never came down? Good idea for a horror film?

One of my favorite memories at CP is riding TTD (part 1) about 10 years ago...there is a pic of us in line somewhere...foggy, foggy morning...and about 80% of the way up the hill the train broke through the fog revealing a perfectly sunny morning....and then you plummeted back into the fog and back into an "Erie" foggy atmosphere.

I had a similar experience many years ago. I arrived for early entry at the main entrance, heading to Millennium. I never saw any evidence that TTD was even there. It was completely hidden from view by the fog. As I neared the top of Millennium's lift hill, I looked to my right and all I could see was the top of TTD. Now I wonder if you and I are talking about the same morning.
