fog

I'm a massachusettan whos never been to CP. On a foggy day do they close down rides? Cause imagine like a 300 ft fog, so youd be out for the last 100 ft, and then dive into the fog, not able to see as you twist all the way around.

Not being able to see the ride is not going to close it down. There isn't a rollercoaster where you can see the entire ride from the station besides TTD, Wicked Twister, and Wildcat.

Usually, fog will not close a ride. In fact, my favorite ride on Millennium Force was in the fog on an early May morning. Nothing quite like staring down a drop you can't see the bottom of.

Fog filled rides are the best, especially at night. You're already plummeting into the dark abyss, but the fog adds an extra thrill level to it. I'd love to have a ride on Dragster where the train makes it over the fog. That would be so eerie being above even the clouds!

You can't see all of wicked twister from the station!

usually fog only occurs in the early morning, so they wouldnt have stuff shut down as long as it goes away by the afternoon or opening time (like it almost always does).

That would be a fun ride though in the fog, I just dont know if it would ever happen, timing-wise.

If you look at the Power Tower cam, it's pretty foggy. Will today be the day that a car disappears into the fog and never comes down?

I was on the 3 rd train of the day .. it was still a little foggy. it was cool... But it was not as cool as it could have been if it were only 1 hour earlier....

That would be cool plumiting into nothing but fog on mille or TTD.

Riding Power Tower in fog is also very cool. I was fortunate enough to be at the park on a foggy morning in 2001. Sitting at the top of PT and seeing only the crests of Millennium Force and Magnum is quite a unique sight. Would have made a great picture...

I have been on MF in the fog... its simply amazing.

I cant wait to try my luck with TTD! :)

Check out the cams right now if you want to see CP inside the clouds. It's kinda creepy. The station cam has a perfect view of TTD hidden behind the fog.
