I am getting ready to make my annual trip out to Cedar Point next week and I was thinking about something that was talked about heavily last year on these forums. After looking through pages of posts, I didn't see anything about it so I thought I would ask...
Did Maverick ever get the fog back in the launch tunnel like it was originally planned to have?
Sorry if this has already been discussed this year, but I couldn't find it in any of the old threads.
Thanks!
I believe they were having issues with the sensors inside the tunnel. I also heard that when/if the employees had to enter the tunnel, the fog didn't clear very fast and the employees had a hard time seeing.

Am I wrong, or weren't the only people to have experienced the fog the Red Cross Inaugural riders. I was one the people on the lift hill when we had the roll back during the Red Crodd rides. They sut it down after that and I don't ever remember the fog being on after that.

^Pesses you off? ;) Anyway, I like it better without. It wasn't so much a fog as it was a mist and being that I wear glasses, it would get them wet and after coming out of the tunnel I couldn't see.

Yeah it feels really refreshing. Whenever we see it we run toward it!
We went to CP for Halloweekends in 2001. I remember the entire day, Iron Dragon's mist was pouring out into the Midway. I have never been back for Halloweekends (due to lack of funds :( ), so I'm not sure if it was by accident or a Halloween effect.
