Focus Group/Survey

Anybody else get a survey from CP in their email today? It says they're doing a focus group, asks you to take a brief survey, and the best candidates are going to be chosen to participate in a focus group on the 15th (and will score a cool $100 for their time.)

( I took the survey but I might be out of the running because I said 'no' to the 'Do you use Pinterest' question. )

I got it as well. Nope to Pinterest. I wouldn't mind a little extra cash though.

Have been thinking I'm the only person in the world not on Pinterest, but maybe not after all. Wouldn't the extra $100 be nice?

Pinterest? Isn't that a site where everyone just posts a picture of what they are eating for dinner?

I answered no to Pinterest as well. I hope that it doesn't put me out of the running. I wonder what is the criteria to be selected?

I said yes to Pinterest because I have used it before. It asked if I was available on Monday, May 15th at 6:30PM, so I don't know if that means I'm in or not.

I do a lot of focus groups and one thing I've learned is to just answer the initial screening questions honestly. You never know what or who they might be looking for, and what you say may keep you out one time but put you in the next time.

Edit: I just checked my email and it says specifically that you'll be asked to do a little Pinterest homework. So it seems clear that those users are who they're looking for.

I was asked to be part of the 5:00 group specifically because we have children in both the 5 and under range and the 6-10 range.

You never know what they're looking for.

I've never done anything like this. What does taking part in an online focus group entail usually? Since there is a meeting time, is it a chat room or video conferencing?

I took the survey and was also a big no on the Pinterest. It asked about the Monday 6:30 slot, but I haven't seen anything since taking the survey. We'll see what happens.

I got it, but when it asked if I was available for the 5:00 slot and I said no, it dumped me out. I thought they were going to ask me about multiple times, or I would have said yes to the 5:00 and made it work. :(

Has anyone had any follow up? I did say yes to the time slot offered.

What could get more focus group or survey"ish" than a website with over 850 pages of threads dedicated to Cedar Point? They should just scan through here for threads related to the topics they are seeking suggestions on, then give everyone who posted in those topics the $100!

I didn't get a survey. Was it just a select group? Stupid question, I know, but I'm just curious as to what was all on it.

So, anyone? It WAS tonight, right? I had never heard anything after the initial contact.
