Floorless Coaster

I was just looking at some pictures of Hydra at Dorney Park and I was thinking a ride like that should be put in at CP. It could start out between CCMR and SRF,go out to Mellinum Island, and sneek through CCMR and then go back into the station.

Mellinum island? Where is that?

I've heard conflicting reports about Hydra, but I sure as heck want a jojo roll. A gigantic cobra roll like Hulk wouldn't be bad either.

I was pissed the first time I got off of Hydra last week. I thought it was horrible. The roll out of the station was the coolest part of the whole ride. In no way did it compare to Medusa or Dominator (GL). There was little to no airtime and it seemed excrutiatingly slow.

I like the thought of a floorless in FT. It could be colored and themed as something similar to Wildfire at Silver Dollar City.

The point was, the other thread about new for 06 wasn't good enough to discuss this in?

Oh come on, Ben, didn't you know it was open season on starting a new thread about each and every rumored ride/coaster?

Maybe we should let them in on the amphibius coaster project set to debut in 2007...oh no, I've said too much!

I didn't know starting a topic about a floorless coaster in 06 and not putting it in the thread about a ride for 06 would cause such a problem. I just saw a topic on a screaming swing so I just wanted to talk about a floorless.

If the Mods had a problem with this thread, wouldn't it have already been closed? Anyways, I think a floorless would be a worthy addition, due to their lack of loopers.

Kudos CP4eva'04. I couldn't agree more. The negative comments on this site are out of hand. If you don't have a serious comment to a logical question, then don't respond.

What are some other floorless coasters out there that we could compare to? I'd love to see a floorless at Cedar Point. Maybe they'll add some new elements that Cedar Point has never seen before. And one of those elements I'd love to see would be interlocking Corkscrews like what Dominator has. I'd also like to see an In-Line-Twist on a floorless like you have on Raptor, I think that would be sweet. Maybe Cedar Point will build the Tallest Floorless out there at 200 feet. If not just build it to be fun without breaking records. A Floorless to me would be better than a Flyer in Frontiertown than anything. Although I love Flyers I love Floorless coasters more.
