Flash mob on Carousel?

Last night we finished our night at the park with our 4 year old as we always do on the carousel at the front of the park. There were a ton of teenagers in line which didn't concern us, and we found some horses by themselves. A few seconds later we were surrounded by tons of kids who were also going to ride. When the ride began, everyone started screaming and yelling, and we were caught off guard. At first it was kind of funny, but then the girls in front of us were pole dancing on the horses and being a little out of control. I'm definitely not conservative and understand that teens will be teens (as I was a wild child myself), but you think they would have a little courtesy on a family ride like that? Anyhow, it was just a weird experience and I couldn't wait to get off of the ride because it made all of us uncomfortable :( I wasn't sure if that was a fluke thing or if that always happens at closing time, I really felt bad for the worker!

If it would have been me on duty there would have been a quick call to security and then hit the e stop. I never allowed that kind of behavior, and unless things have changed it's not permitted , period. The op clearly dropped the ball on that.

Agreed. I would have shown them the exit.

It's not a flash mob unless there's choreographed dancing. :)

Not true Jeff. They could have just planned on meeting there and then did their own thing. Yes they're normally choreographed but not all are.

I'd argue that if it's choreographed, then it's not a flash mob. :)

Yep. Only a faux-flash mob...
