In October my pass disappeared from the app and I could not reload them. I contacted Cedar Point and they opened a ticket.
They asked for some screenshots of my phone and I sent them. Today I got an email that said a glitch in their app was the problem. It has been fixed and I should delete the app, readd it, and load my pass. This fixed my issue. I contacted a friend who also had the problem and they were successful in getting their pass back.
Just passing this along. I would guess others have had this issue.
The Cedar Flags apps seem like some real amateur stuff. I can only imagine what happens if they expand Gate Central across the legacy flags properties.
I met a guy at a bar last year that was apparently one of the original developers on that system. The fact that he's still at it, since the Paramount days, is nuts in tech circles. That's like two decades of not being exposed to new things.

Yeah, the Cedar Flags app absolutely sucks. From passes disappearing to the app freezing while in line for food to the total inability to purchase anything (single fast lane, single meal, etc.) because the app gets completely overwhelmed by traffic. I have to continuously keep my hard pass on me at all times just so I can eat or drink.
During Winterfest at KI we had to use our hard pass for our meal, because the app wouldn't scan.
The entire IT department needs a massive overhaul.
