I finally returned to the Point after 2 years and had a good time. Maverick is a great coaster and one of the best new rides in the last 10 years. Skyhawk is fun as well. Mean Streak is really rough and I found Mantis quite rough as well. I was pleased to fit on Millennium Force. It was a concern of mine. One thing I feel is that they need a flume. I wanted to ride a water ride but didn't feel like getting soaked. I don't know where they would put one but they need one. One thing I feel is that they almost have too many rides. It almost is overwhelming for the one day visitor. Also the food prices is out of whack. I know all parks and may other tourist and sports venues charge high prices for food but 11-12 bucks for a sandwich fires and drink? At least put the drink with the combo. I also don't think they need any more coasters for a while.
All in all it was a good day. Hope to come back for Halloweekends.
Yea, I was thinking the prices at Panda wouldn't be bad at all - I think it's $8.99. But then they kick you in the nuts with the $3.50 drink. If you could get a big plate of Chinese and a drink for 10 bucks, I think I'd do it every trip. The crap sure does smell good while waiting for/riding Millennium Force! *** Edited 7/21/2007 5:19:46 PM UTC by MDOmnis***

The other day I got a Hot dog, Soft Pretzel, and a Beer (keyword Beer ;) )for $12 at the Indians game. Stuff seems like a bargain compared to chain parks.

If the ball team does good they raise the prices but if they do bad they lower the prices. I seen this at our ball team AAA Columbus Clippers.
