Hi everyone!
My husband and I are going for the first time Sept 16-19. We will be at the park friday night, all day sat & sun. We are not quite sure what to expect having never been there. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreaciated. We are both in our 20's and love coasters! Thank you!

Go directly to Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster first, since they usually have the longest lines(the earlier you get there the better). Raptor / Mantis are good follow ups to those and then just have a blast. I hope you have a great time in this incredible park and ride TTD once for all of us at Point Buzz!
You are going the best time of the year for short lines, just enjoy yourselves.

Hey, I'll be there the same weekend. I'm hoping the lines won't be too long. But, here are some pointers about some of the lines.
For rides like Corkcrew, Iron Dragon, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Blue Streak, Disaster Transport, and Wildcat, don't ride them if the line is longer than 1/4 hour. Come back later, or just skip them. Don't expect to wait less than 1/2 hour for Millennium Force or Dragster, unless it's at the beginning of the day or at the end of the night.
Just remember, the worst day at Cedar Point is still better than the best day at work.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
Yes, don't forget that there are alot of rides and attractions, plus (MMM) food. You'll be there for 3 days, enjoy the park, not to mention surrounding areas. You'll be hooked on it for weeks!
Whatever you do when you enter the park for the first time during the day, DO NOT start off on Raptor. The reason being is you will wait a long time at the begining of the day because it's the first rollercoaster in the park and everyone has the same idea to start off with riding Raptor. You'd be better off riding MaXair first. MaXairs line is always the same length during the day. GUESS WHAT YALL....700 POSTS!!!!!
The fact that you posted here 700 times is a good thing? I have posted here more than that and will not make that claim.
700 POSTS!!!!1111 Whoppee.

To be fair to Shawn, he's not the first person to do this. It's been going on around here for a few weeks, though no one seemed to mind until now. :)
I'm approaching post 800, I guess I'll keep quiet when that day comes.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Ok next time I hit another Milestone say like 1,000 posts then I'll get excited again. It's fun to get anxious over something stupid like this.
I don't mind, Walt. I just don't see any usefulness in proclaiming that you have posted XXXX amount of times, and then posting about THAT, as well.
What's the Point?
