We are staying at Lighthouse Point. I read somewhere on here but cant find it now about being able to use the shower rooms at the campground when staying at LHP. Where are they located? There will be 6 maybe 7 of us in the cabin so it might be easier for some to go to the shower house. And another quick question? Where is a good place to eat breakfast? Thanks
I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to use the CV bathhouses - I can't imagine they're checking ID's or anything.
As for getting responses - be patient. Your post has been up for just over 2 hours at this point. Within a couple days, all of your answerable questions will likely be answered. Well before Halloweekends starts.

Hey Disneyfreak!
My family stays at Campers Village every year for Halloweekends. I have several extended family members that stay at the Lighthouse Point cabins throughout the weekend as well.
Nobody will have a problem with you using the shower houses if you stay in LHP. They are designed for people who are staying on site and there is no division between camper's village and the cabins... they all kind of run together.
If I remember correctly, there are two shower houses at Campers Village. One is located right in the center of the village and the other is located near the pool behind the lighthouse.
My memory may not be 100% on this, so if anybody else has had experience with staying there, please feel free to correct me.
As far as breakfast goes, if you have the luxury of being able to leave The Point in the mornings and go to Sandusky, there is an AWESOME greasy spoon restaurant called 'The Jolly Donut' that is really inexpensive and good food.
Other than that, there is a McDonalds on the Cedar Point Causeway.
If you can't drive to leave the area, I don't know what to suggest... maybe someone else can suggest breakfast places a little closer.
Hope this helps mate!
Thank you all that replied! I guess I was being a little impatient. Im used to the Disney forums where 100's of people reply. We would be able to leave the point, so those places mentioned for breakfast may be a good solution. Thank you again!
The Disney forums are also populated by 100's of stay at home moms.
The other option is to bring your own breakfast stuff and cook it yourself. I don't think there is a stove inside (it's been a few years since I stayed at LHP), but there is a picnic table. Put a camp stove and a griddle on the picnic table, and bingo, you have breakfast.
Also, be aware that if you are over 6' tall, the shower in the cabin is going to be cramped.

I would recommend using the showers along the side of the Soak City parking lot. It has been awhile since I camped there but that bathhouse was less crowded then the others. You can drive to that one and park right out front of it (during non-park hours when the lot is empty). Plus the bathhouse by the pool behind the lighthouse was made up of individual home-style bathrooms with actual bathtubs. The tubs were very gross and slow to drain and the line at peak shower time was long and slow moving.
