first time visit- help!

Hi this will be my family's first trip therr and we are so excited! we are going to the nhl draft first and then to cedar point on saturday and sunday. Where can we get a good deal on a nice place to stay, I know its last minute but we wernt sure if we could all get off work... there are 4 adults and one baby :)

I suggest travel lodge they have good size rooms and I always go there on last minute staying plans. Anyways, have a great weekend at Cedar Point.

If you have a camper then try camper village. It has the lowest costs at the park.

I am going to visit CP this week. Someone advise me how the lines are for Maverick. I will be able to get in at 9:00 am and love Millenium. Should I go there first or to Maverick? Also, where are the best places to eat inside CP. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Go to Maverick first, yesterday (Sat June 16th) Maverick had a full queue (1 hour 45 min) the whole day and MF had at worst 1hr 15 min wait and at 11:00 only had a 30 min wait still. My suggestion is to go to Maverick first, and if you like it and its a short line to do it again, then go to MF.
