First time

People have always said that MF is better later in the day because it has had time to warm up, i plan on going on it later in the day. Two questions, is it better just to rush to mf right when I get there, is it any longer of a wait later in the day?

Feel the Force!
My first ever MF ride last year was immediately following the park opening.

A late-day ride might be better than an early-morning ride, but the early-morning ride was better than any coaster I had experienced before.

Get in line early (your shortest possible wait), then if you want to do it again, suffer the line.

You'll at least guarantee your self a quick 5 or 10 min wait tops if you go right there after the national anthem plays....

I've never been a supporter of the "better late in the day" theory....Still a thrill at 10am or 10pm

Well my problem is, I don't want to rush by everything on my irst trip, i want to enjoy the park, will i ruin it by rushing to the beack for MF right when it opens?

oh how i miss last year,we'd half way rush to mf for a morning ride, then grab a ttr for our afternoon ride and then enter line right before cutoff time(closing time) and wait however long it took, and then closing night waiting in line watching them remove all the trash cans behind us before taking that last of the year with the island lights off night ride.
only time we broke that pattern was the heavy fog morning when we decided since we couldnt see the top of magnum when we entered from soak city lot that we would do a front seat fog ride, now only if we can catch mf in the fog:)
with that plan i mentioned,we had loads of time for other rides and attractions, and still got in 3 mf rides with under an hours wait other than when park was closed anyway.
when there was no ttr, we usually dropped the afternoon ride for time purposes
and these were weekend trips alot of the time too.

Any ride on MF is good but I would wait till late afternoon or night to get a really great ride.

Live for FUN!

Don't let life fly by.
If you really really really really really want to ride it, I would get it as soon as possible (don't save it until last then see that it broke down!)

A bad day at CP is better than a good day at work.
Yeah, I will be going in a few weeks...finally, I'm going back!! This time I definately want to wait for the park to open, so I can participate in the "running of the bulls". :)
Yeah I'm glad that I partook in the Running of the bulls my first trip, instead of taking the marina side entrace like you guys said. It really opened my eyes to the full scope of how friggin big the park is. The second day i went in the marina entrance, and although i didnt have to run, I didn't enjoy seeing the coasters enfold in front of my eyes
