Hello all,
I've been lurking the forum for a few days now and gotten some good information for my upcoming trip to CP. I will be there this Wednesday and Thursday, 7/15 & 7/16, for the first time since Maverick's first year and I'm already pretty excited. But I do have a couple questions that I couldn't find answers to. We will be staying at Hotel Breakers Wednesday night; what rides are open for ERT in the morning? I'm guessing it'll be best to hit the low-capacity rides during this period, but I'd like to know what my options will be ahead of time if possible.
Also, what rides do you all think are the best to ride at night? I've only been to CP 3 times and never at night, so I am looking for opinions on which rides offer the best night experience even though the park will only be open for about an hour while it's dark. Luminosity seems neat enough but I think my brother and I will be looking for more of a "thrill" when the sun goes down.
Does anyone know what meals are included with the single-day meal plan? It could be user error on my part but I was struggling to find this information on the website. If it's anything like Kings Island I imagine I'll pass though because I like some of the "snack" options that aren't included in the meal deal as opposed to full-on meals.
Finally, as I mentioned before, we will be staying at Breakers. The confirmation email they sent stated that tickets could be bought in the lobby as early as 8 AM on arrival date (well before check-in, obviously) for a discounted rate. My question is what is the parking availability typically like over there at that time? Will we likely have to drive all the way back to the main gate and then back again to check in, or is there usually enough parking near Breakers to keep our car there while we enjoy the park on Wednesday? And exactly how much are tickets discounted? Would we be better off stopping at Kroger on the way? I'm sure these questions could probably be answered with a phone call but I thought I'd try it the "easy" way first, which is to ask you all!
Wow, not sure how I missed that info before on rides open for ERT and ticket prices. Must have been low on sleep or something. Thanks for the help!

Information about early entry ride availability and ticket prices are located here. Tickets are $39, as indicated on that webpage. I'm also not sure how much tickets are at Kroger since there are none here in West Michigan. But I can tell you that Meijer has tickets for $49.99.
If you're going to the park for two days, you can buy the two day ticket at the hotel desk for $76. The two day includes the water park admission, as well in the $76 price. As others have said, you shouldn't have any problems parking in the Breakers lot and they will text you when your room is ready.
For your very final ride of the night (after Millennium Force in the dark), you might want to consider the Giant Wheel or Windseeker, both of which offer great views of the park at night. From there, you can exit out the boardwalk gate (next to Windseeker) and have a nice stroll along the lake on your way back to the hotel.
You will be fine parking your car in Hotel Breakers parking lot. When you buy your tickets, im pretty sure you will be pre-registering for your room so they will probably even give you a parking passto put on your dashboard.
For early entry rides, walk over to the Magnum gate and head to Maverick, ride that a couple times. Then head to Millennium Force, then you can jump on Rougarou if you want or just head right over to Dragster.
If you are going to buy a meal plan, i suggest buying one all day plan for $30 and sharing with whoever you are there with every 90 minutes. Free cups of water are available at all walk up food places!
Millennium Force in the backseat is probably the best night ride experience in the park IMO. Maverick is crazy at night as well! Enjoy those new soft straps on Maverick!
The only one of these I feel confident about answering is your food question. :)
