First Halloweekends of the Year

Park was so quiet today. Every ride was a walk on. I didn't wait for more than 10 minutes. Is this a typical Friday Halloweekends experience? It was awesome!

I live in Toronto, ON, and my home park is Canada's Wonderland. CP has always been the BEST in my eyes, so when I plan a trip, I plan/hope to wait as little as possible to get on rides. What we usually do is go either this first weekend of Halloweekends, or the next one in September. We stay two nights in Breakers, but only enter the park on Friday night and Sunday, because Saturday is usually very busy. All 4 times our family has done this, we've had VERY small crowds on both days (Friday night and Sunday). I think it's a little something that we shouldn't brag about... don't wanna jinx it. We're heading down next weekend and I couldn't be more excited!

The crowds yesterday were much lower than last year for the opening night. I'm sure some of that is weather related. Seemed like when there was a light drizzle that shut down the rides around 8:15ish, a lot of people left.
