"Finishing Touches"

has anyone heard of anything CP is planning to add to MF such as light schemes, or flags etc? I think a few milti-colored flags on top of the first hill would look cool. Maybe even a "Don't Stand Up" sign just for kicks! (or an oxygen mask conveniently placed at the top for one more breath before taking the plunge)
I would be cool if they puts signs on Mf lift hill that says you are now higher than raptor, you are now taller than Mantis, etc.
Andrew, that is really a nifty idea!! Can you only imagine your feeling as you pass the sign "you are now as high as Power Tower?" As far as flags, I know there is an american flag up there now, I think that is all that is needed!

According to Jeff, in a previous thread, he mentions that the lighting is going to knock your socks off!!

I hope it's better than Goliath's lights!
Usually, the American Flag is ceremonial of topping off a coaster crest, and it doesn't remain in place.

I like the idea to announce when you are higher than other CP coaster...how about like Oblivion and they announce your presence while going up the lift. Although, I am unsure if this would be possible with the speed of the lift.

It is my understanding that the lighting effects on Goliath are simply amazing to see, so if MF is anything remotely as exciting in the lighting effects field, I will definately be satisfied with that aspect of the lighting.

You know, it would be cool if they had a sign on the lift for whenever you passed the height of one of the other coasters.
Not to be a party pooper, but I think that would be kind of cheesy. Go 'head and flame me, but I just think that signs saying "There goes Raptor" would be dumb.

Just my opinion. Everyone's entitled. Says so in the Constitution. You can check.

i dunno..i think signs would be cool...it would be funny, to start with, it might relieve some stress/tension in some riders, or cause it, depending. it would also be a real adreneline boost for those of us who know better. i say, "do it!!!" :)

"I think I scrambled my brain!!"
Kinda indifferent on that issue. I can see both ways of the issue but it just doesn't seem like CP's style.
I believe CP usually sets style and grace as an aesthetic priority to insure that the greatest portion of the general public will have only positive things to say about the latest newest thing at the the Point. This could very well be the main philosophy behind CP's decison to avoid theming. Sometimes it's a hit; sometimes it's a miss, but elegance is timeless. That's why we probably won't be seeing any signs that say you are now taller than the Jr. Gemini. MF speaks for itself.
I wouldn't say 'There goes Raptor' or anything, just a sign that says the name of each coaster as you pass it.
Through in Fujiyama for the hell of it.
Still...that's what I meant, whether it said there goes Raptor, or just Raptor. I don't like the idea.
