1) I am a collector of crushed coins. I have a penny for Magnum, Raptor, Mean Streak, Iron Dragon, Mantis, MF, Snake River Falls rides. I also have a penny with cedar point in the middle and a big C on the top and a P on the bottom. One with a carousel horse and Cedar Point on the bottom. One with "What's life if you don't get to the point". A penny with Cedar point on the top and Get to the Point in a circle with a couple rides on the bottom. A penny with Cedar Point in a diamond and America's Roller Coast on the bottom. A plain looking penny with Cedar Point underlined. The last one is a penny with what appears to be the space spiral, witch's wheel, and a hypercoaster in the background with fireworks over top of it. It has America's Roller Coast on the bottom. Are there any more that I missed, esp maybe one for Power Tower or Wicked? I realize not everyone collects or would know in great detail the pennies or locations, any info would be of help.
2) I read on the CP website or saw on TV that Snoopy on Ice will open in "mid June". Does anyone know a more definitive day than that?
3) Does the "running of the bulls" still occur? If, it does, what time should I be there? Do some people go to Wicked Twister in the morning if it is running?
4) I do remember going to CP a couple years back and they had package pick-up, they would ship your purchases to the front of the park for you to pick up there. I did not see it listed in the Getaway Guide. Do they still offer this service?
5) For anyone from Cleveland or points east, I heard there is construction on the Ohio Turnpike on the last exit before Milan Rd. Any idea if there is usually backups here.
You people are the experts. Any info you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you.
2. Snoopy on Ice opens June 22.
3. I am not sure about the actual "running" but there always is a mad rush for Millennium Force when the park opens. When I went to CP, I walked to Wicked Twister when it opened and waited 10 minutes.
4. I know that the caricature booths will hold your picture until the end of the day, if that helps.
5. I don't recall any construction on the Turnpike. The road that you exit on to get to CP (whose name I forgot) was under some construction but seemed to be wrapping up. If you can, I would recommend getting to CP the night before because you wouldn't have to worry about traffic jams.

If you are traveling from the EAST of Cleveland to CP don't stay on the Ohio Turnpike to Sandusky. While there is NO major construction zones from the west of Cleveland to Sandusky...I believe Route 250 heading into Sandusky is a mess....
You are better off EXITING the OH Turnpike at Route 57 (Elyria) or Even the next exit Baumhart Road..then get on to State Route 2/6(head WEST)...Take this to RYE BEACH ROAD and then follow the signs...(it's a right turn off the freeway then a left turn on Cleveland Road) This will take you right to CP.
Run this through MapQuest or Yahoo for a more specific directions....Good Luck.
