Ferry Service?

Planning a trip to the Point tomorrow and we were wondering if they still had ferry service from Sandusky to Cedar Point?

That's a good question, Kevin.  Actually, I have one along the same lines, hopefully we can kill two birds with one thread.  I'm going to be up that way September 21-22.  The plan is to go to Put-In-Bay Friday the 21st, stay on the island and hit the bars (if there are any, right Dan?), then head to the Point on Saturday.  My question is, what is the best way to do it, drive to Sandusky, take the rocket to the island Friday, rocket to the Point Saturday, then how would I get back to my car?  Or just take the rocket back to Sandusky Saturday and drive into the park?  I've never actually stayed on the island before going to the park.  Hell, I've never stayed on the island that I can really remember...I just remember waking up on a beach...

The Island Rocket provides service from both Sandusky and the islands to Cedar Point.
