Favorite/Least Favorite Queue Song

So what song(s) are OK to hear when you're patiently waiting in line?
And what song(s) do you HATE to hear when you're in line?

OK to hear-Love Shack (dont ask about that I have no clue why, for the past 2 years couldnt stand it and then suddenly it is ok. Think the Banshee power riding during Coastermania is what made the difference for me-remember hearing it that night)
:-)

Hate-ANYTHING by Brittany Spears

There are just certain songs I hear that remind me of waiting in line at CP and especially during the off season or while driving the LONG drive to CP they do get me pumped.

2000 Millennium Force Laps: 52
2000 Raptor Laps: 33
2000 Banshee Laps: 19
2000 PT Drops: 1

6 weeks and I will be saying:
"please secure all loose articles because Cedar Point can not and will not be responsible for items lost or damaged during your ride"

can NOT wait!!!!

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight?? *** This post was edited by LuvRaptor on 8/4/2000. ***
I like the song that's on the "Beef, whats for dinner tonight" song in line for MF when there's no DJ and they play a soundtrack through the speakers in the landscaping.

The last time I was at the Point I remember standing in line for Millinnium Force and the DJ played Kryptinite by 3 doors down. Now everytime I hear that song it reminds me of standing there, looking up at the lift hill and being really excited to ride.

I also hate it when they play Brittany Spear songs, It kinda ruins the mood for me.
The DJ was great though, he played a little bit of her song then turned it off and said, "I think We've all heard enough of that", everyone cheered loudly.
I love 3 Doors Down because the first time it reminds me of the first time I rode MF with my Dad.

I remember the Millenium Force DJ played songs that seemed to unite everybody together. When "The Wall" came on, everybody started to walk in uniform and sang it. That was pretty interesting.

WHOO!
Sheit my fav was on aug 3rd the DJ was playin bull crap stuff and then someone asked him to play comfortably numb by floyd an i asked to play all along the watch tower by hendrox... and the next songs were floyd an hendrix
LAst week in the MF line the DJ started playing "Lucky" by Britney Spears for abot 45 sec. He then cut the song and said "Do really think I'm that bad of a DJ!" So then he put on "I Disapear" by Metallica!. I thought that was pretty funny.
He played Metallica?!?!?!?! Damn, I wish I was in line when he did that. I love Metallica, and the DJ's NEVER play metal. Kryptonite also sort of reminds me of MF, but since I heard it before and after I stood in line, it doesn't register as much as other songs do.

The song that reminds me of Magnum is "Genie in a Bottle" by Christina Aguilera, and "Allstar" by Smash Mouth. Last year, the last time I rode Magnum, I heard these songs. In the off-season whenever I heard them, it brought tears to my eyes...sniff...LOL!

I've ridden Mantis 7 or 8 times this year, and I've only heard "Love Shack" once. :( I've really only stood in line once with a line. At Coastermania I wasn't in the line longer than 5 minutes. I like the song and I never hear it.
as a big B52's fan, i find that what irritates me about "Love Shack" is that they seem to think it's the only thing the B's ever recorded. they have pleny of other "party" type songs..what about "Rock Lobster"??
anyhoo, i would like to see the DJ's have like "theme" nights..one night might be 80's music(Mostly), one might be 60's(mostly), etc....if i was DJing there, it would be all good. no Britney, no Backstreets, no nothin' like that...just good ol' pump you up tunes!!

DIE METTALICA, DIE!
LONG LIVE NAPSTER!
Well, I've heard it all, and when they take requests in the Raptor queue, you know the next 5 minutes are gonna suck. I always try to request the Offspring, but they never take it... Hmm...

Another weird thing is when the DJ played All the Small Things by Blink 182, and asked everyone to sing along. They delete the word 'sucks' ('work sucks, I know'), but everyone sang it anyway, and messed up the song. It was really weird.

What's really bad is when they play Kiss' Rock and Roll all night. The DJ divided the queue into 3 groups to sing the 'and party ev-e-r-y day' part, and it really was awkward and messed up.
My favorite song would have to
be "Rollercoaster", I'm not sure who sings it but it is good. I hate standing in line and hearing that dang song " Say my Name" by Destiny's Child!

if it wasn't released in the 80's i don't like it..most 90's stuff and what passes for "music" now just turns my stomach....i started bringing a Walkman to the park and if i can't stand what the DJ is playing i turn THAT on instead!!

I'm pretty sure Red Hot Chilly Peppers sings "LoveRollerCoaster", if thats what your talking about. Thats my favorite song!!:)

punk, I resent that comment about Metallica. I just think this whole thing was a plot to get both Napster and Metallica in the news to get them both publicity. Since Napster appealed the verdict, they can go on as usual with their business.
Red Hot Chilly Peppers did a remake. They did not sing the orignal love roller coaster.

My fav DJ is the one in MF, since he plays tons of rock.

Yesterday, right when we got in line, Metallica-I disapear (I'm a fan of Metallica music...not metallica...because of the MP3 stuff....MP3Z RULE!).
Then Floyd-Comferably (spelling?) numb.

Worst songs...any of that pop, boyband crap. N'suck, Backside Boys, Silicone Spears, Christina Agulara, 98 disses, or any of that crap. You want to get people pumped with this music, not make them all mellow out or get all sad becuase of some song. People say that rock, metal etc makes people want to kill themselves (shea right!), I say this sad pop crap is more likly to do that, or if not the lyrics, just having to listen to it, lol.

MF Rides-12
On Aug. 3rd. They were playing "The Mummer's Dance" in the MF line. I thought that was an odd choice for the MF.
