Favorite Time to Visit

Just curious, when is everyone's favorite time to visit Cedar Point (Opening Day, Coastermania, Halloweekends, Closing Day, etc.) My favorite time is May, because of the good weather and the park is generally less crowded. I also like Halloweekends, but depending on the day that you go, it can be very cold (I found that out the hard way last October).

Does anyone think that there are some days that are better than the rest to visit?

I generally like early May weekends. Tons of ride time but the weather is kind of a crap shoot. Usually it's nice but can get quite cold after dark on Millennium.

Halloweekends. If you're cold, you're just not moving around enough. May is nice too, the weather is a crap shoot, but remember, rain = less crowds.

Weekdays in early May and the last week(ish) of August have got to be my favorite. The kids are at school, the parents are at work. The lines are short and the midway is clear, but the weather is still nice. Perfect!

I love the fall. Park is generally more crowded...but nothing better than riding maggie at midnight when its 40 degrees.

During the Week in May, and September. I love the less crowds during both months, and I love the start of fall in September. And of course Friday's during October. I love Haunted Houses (even though CP's aren't the best in the area) but I still love to go through them! :)

I really like going in early may.

I LOVE visiting during Halloweekends.

When it's nice, calm weather, little to no lines, and the monsters come out at night.. that's what I call a perfect day at the point!

Halloweekends is my favorite time for the atmosphere being a big Halloween fan and a former haunted house owner..

However the last couple weeks of August is IMHO the best time because of the lack of people and wide open lines...

You can't really beat opening weekend, but Halloweekends are amazing too. I'm gonna see if I can get a job this fall as a screamster =D

I really don't mind the weather being a crap shoot, when you go there as much as I (and I'm sure most of you) have, it's not really about the rides anymore as it is about the general experience, so walking around in the rain is just as much fun to me (well, almost).

Right now I'll say May is my favourite time, but ask me again in August and I'll say October. I guess May and October both are my favourite. May because of the nice cool weather and the general kickoff of the season and October because I love fall and Halloweekends atmosphere.

Without a doubt...early May is my favorite time to attend the park. Less crowds, perfect weather in the low 70's, etc.

Only downfall is I wish all the Live Shows were open at this point.

My favorite time to visit is in May. Specifically, May 19th & 20th. In 2006. :)

Anytime I got off early from work ( see sig). I'd just change and head off for quick ride on Mean Streak or Maggie. Nothing compares to being on MF just around sunset.
