What is yours?
Obviously you get a great view from the beach, but is there anywhere inside the park where you like to watch fireworks from?
@RyanRufe
We always liked watching from the midway near Giant Wheel.
On an opening day years ago I saw the fireworks from the Dragster platform. The ride had been opening and closing on and off for an hour sending many empty rollbacks. They got it fixed and started sending the riders again just as the fireworks started.
I've only been to the Point once on the 4th of July. 1985, the year Avalanche Run debuted. The family did a three day camping trip to Camper Village. We just watched from the beach. As I recall that it was really quite a nice display. It was a fun trip. I remember jumping across the "moat" near Camper Village to gain access to the forbidden portion of the beach so we could shoot bottle rockets off some bottle rockets, and such. Aah, yes, fond memories.
As in the above post,the parking lot. Pull out the lawn chair,relax and watch.
