What is everyone's favorite line to wait in? I know waiting isn't exactly fun, but since we have to do it, what's your favorite. I love the MF line. There's just something about the location right next to the lake, and the music that always used to get me. Now, when going up the ramp, that 2 minutes of the beautiful aromas from Panda Express really tingle my taste buds. Pure bliss :)

I hate waiting. But, if I have to wait.. I like MF due to the reasons above minus Panda Express, and I like Wicked Twister's, because it's on the beach.

Assuming "length of line" is taken out of the equation, Raptor, because it keeps on truckin'.
Promoter of fog.
On a hot day, I enjoy Wicked Twister's line. There always seems to be a nice breeze coming off the lake. On a cold day, it's miserable.
Other than that, I would say I enjoy Maverick's line for the humorous music, and general excitement of the line, and MF's line for the location, and for the nice aromas when the wind blows right...
Wind from the park side... Panda Express... wind from the bay side... Famous Daves... Working there was difficult though... especially when you were hungry, and the aromatic joys of barbeque were drifting through the air, and you knew that all you would get was the sub-par employee cafeteria food.

I had to smell the sauces from Daves, and some of the stuff from Game Day, as well as getting some whiffs of funnel cake batter and pizza every now and then at Blue Streak. That was horrible on a day where I was only able to eat one meal, smelling all of that wonderful food...
As for my favorite line, probably Maverick. About 80% of it is shaded, and I actually like the music, for the most part. I just find it to be a generally enjoyable line for several reasons.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I guess I don't don't mind waiting for Maverick. It's the best line, because it has the best ending.

right now i seem to enjoy waiting in line for maverick best. i like to look around and remember all the good times i had on white water. it's too bad the rising sun stove polish painting is fading into history.
i live at the saint pia zadora golden buckeye retirement community
The line I like waiting in, only when its raining, is Mean Streak. The line is mostly covered. I always seem to be in that line when it starts raining.
Raptor line constantly moves, I hate standing in one place. So that's a Plus.
The most entertaining location is being the next in line, in the station, of any rollercoaster, during a breakdown, some of the ride ops have some great comebacks to people asking why the coaster is down for maintenance... :)
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
Oooo! I would have to say WT, cuz it's on the beach, and Maverick, cuz of the cool music and wild west atmosphere.
Wicked Twister is breezy.
Maverick has a good amount of shade....
My favorite line to wait in....no line
Suprised this hasnt come up yet but...
On a hot day: DT cause its air conditioned and while the ride may not be the best, I come out of it feeling much more refreshed due to the AC.
If temp isnt an option then I would say Gemini, because that line motors through and is relatively short.
I am going to have to say Power Tower because everytime I have gone this year it was short and it is funny to see new riders faces as they wait to be launched and when they finally get launched. And it is just an awesome ride (both sides).

That's true, but unlike what I said, waiting in line for DT has an awful ending.

I would have to say Maverick's line when I was at the Point on the 22nd of July it was about 8pm and some colledge kids were on the stairs going up to the station. They started the wave going through out the whole line. When someone didn't continue it later on we would all boo. After a few more attempts a ride op came out and video taped it with a camera. That made the line go by soo much. I also think it moves the fastest.

^I think I got you beat. It was near closing time in line for MF and the DJ played the Cha Cha Slide, from my vantage point on the ramp I then proceeded to watch practically all of a 1.5 hour wait line dance (well the jumping part at least, much less did the whole thing.)
The Cha Cha Slide is nothing compared to a beach ball or two being hit around the line starting at about 9 in the evening. The shade structures make it even more interesting (if anyone happened to be in the MF line that time on opening day back in 2005 or '06, you probably know what I'm talking about). :) *** Edited 10/10/2007 10:16:25 PM UTC by BlueStreak64***

The only line I don't like to wait for during much of the season is TTD due to the heat...
Thrills Around the Corner!
I also forget to say that I don't like waiting in lines that have people that are physically unattractive to look at or don't know how to take a shower or people that constantly stare at you. :)
