Favorite Halloweekend display of all time

Mine was the crashed flying saucer near the Wildcat a few years back. Alos liked the old ride graveyard they had near Magnum too.
Simple and funny: Sky RIde car under the support. It's black and has the lucky 13 :)

I agree with Strech, the sky ride car is very funny. Although it's not a display, I love the fog machines. It adds a very eerie touch to the park.

Let's ride the "Sky Ride Sponsored By The Ohio Lottery Odds Are You'll Have Fun" Ride!

I also love the skyride car. To be honest, I think a lot of the decorations look a bit lame during the day (take the random beat up cars parked by Wildcat as an example), but when night time comes around and they put the fog on, they look pretty cool - especially over on Frontier Trail. I had forgotten exactly how dark the back of the park is during Halloweekends when they put colored filters over the lights! It was even hard to recognize someone back by Gemini, where it is normally pretty well lit! I kind of liked it though. :)

I liked reading the tombstones in the graveyard along Frontier Town. I remember laughing my butt off at the one for Dick Kinzel. It was in amongs a bunch of other ones and it was like the only serious one of the bunch. That's what made it so funny!

11/12/02--Pearl Jam releases "Riot Act". 11/12/02 I go into Pearl Jam overload.

The crashed Iron Dragon car.
I wished I could have seen the crashed Dragon car set up last year. I heard about it in previous years, but the first HW I got to go to was last year and they didn't have it. I like the graveyards, though.

June 28th: LocoBazooka Tour (Sevendust headlining)
July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and Deadsy

The best was the UFO abduction under the Summer Spectacular booth w/the pickup truck.

I missed the Iron Dragon car. But my son and I thought the black, #13 Sky Ride car was great. Haven't been when it's dark yet, so my opinion might change after I visit when Frontier Trail is fogged over.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

I miss the trio of howling wolves that were located in a different place each Halloween. They always looked spooky at night in the fog with their tails twitching. One appears to be hanging its head out of the black school bus near the ice cream shop this year.
The other display that no longer seems to be there is the devil that hid in the shadows behind Coaster Coolers across from the Gemini entrance.
As to my favorite new display---my family enjoyed the Adams Family "hand" that was selling popcorn balls.

My favorite has ALWAYS been the creepy popcorn stand which this year is located over by the "Build a Bear" store.
It looks like they added some HUGE flies to the display this year-thing gives me the willies every year! :)
Forget cheese on a stick-how about rat on a stick? Yummy

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

The crashed cars of Sky Ride and Iron Dragon plus the tombstone of Dick Kinzel (nothing against the man he in truth is a great guy).
