A bit off topic, but they changed the "world's fastest coaster sign." IMO, the new one looks horrible.
Would you rather that they keep the sign up that said "The World's Fastest Roller Coaster?" If they did that, they'd be no better than any Six Flags park that touts a record that they don't have, or lists the wrong number of inversions for a ride, etc. We all hated it when Six Flags did that, so Cedar Point doesn't do that. It's a good thing!
Personally, I like the sign.

Adam, you take pictures with a disposable? :)
I just got the best camera that will fit in my pocket without making it hard to walk. Canon sd450 does that very well.

It's obviously better than the old one in the sense that it's updated, but the text in the red oval seems out of place with the sign. The text on the 'worlds fastest coaster' sign looked better.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
This may be a little off topic, but interesting, tonight on The History Channel at 9PM, they are replaying an episode of Modern Marvels. It is called "Worlds Fastest" and it features a segment on Kingda Ka. I know TTD is way better but, they do share a lot of technology, so it does give some good insights.

What in your mind makes TTD "way better"? They are nearly the same ride.

Well, I was trying not to get flamed, Mr Scott, thanks for making sure something didn't get posted on this forum without getting a negitive responce. ;)

Woah, woah, woah, there's no need for hostility in ALL the Dragster threads.
Scott, the whole Dragster vs KK has been based on things such as location and theme. Some people like Dragster because of it's location and some like KK for it's theme (detail, not the coasters actual theme). They've described the launches as the same feeling (KK's just longer and a bit more violent) and favor KKs bunny hill (which most have said doesnt give airtime).
Just FYI.
