I'm wondering if any of you can tell me how much time the Fast Lane passes actually save. Specifically, how long the lines are during a Thursday in July? I'm visiting this Thursday and it is likely to be my only visit for the year so I'm seriously thinking about buying the Fast Lane.
Any information on how long the normal and FL lines are on a normal July weekday for the major coasters (Maverick, TTD, Millennium, GK) would really be helpful.
Oh it definitely is worth it! I was just there from Thursday at like 1:30 until Sunday at 1 and I did MF 10x, GK 6x, Dragster 3x, and Maverick 5x. We only got the pass on Thursday and Friday and it definitely helped. We got the Fastlane Plus one which included Gatekeeper and Dragster. It does depend on when you go but it was maybe around a 25-30 min wait, but like Gatekeeper moved along really well (at the shortest GK was like 10 min). It definitely is better than waiting in the heat all day. We waited like one ride for MaxAir then we were on! So it was pretty awesome! For the normal lines I'm not really sure, I'm guessing around a couple hours. If I'm not mistaken GK might have even but up to 3 and on Saturday the line was going all the way out near Wicked Twister. As I've been hinting I definitely would recommend it! Have fun at The Point!!

Definitely worth it if you want to ride everything and not wait in line....comparison purposes?
Last Thursday:
Gatekeeper line - 70 minutes...FL+ Line 10 minutes
MP line - 60 minutes...FL+ line 5 minutes
Mav line - 60 minutes...FL+ line - none, walk on
Raptor -- 45 minutes...FL+ line - none, walk on
Those are just some examples and of course each day is different, but you will never quite see lines at CP the same way again after using the FL+
I bit the bullet this past Saturday on FastLane+. Bought it before I walked in the park and I'd do it again in an instant. I wasn't able to go any other day than Saturday, and the lines were absolutely ridiculous. TTD was easily 2 hours, Gatekeeper was 1.5 - 2 when it was open, MF was 1 - 1.5, Raptor was easily over an hour, Maverick was 1.5-2 hours. The longest we had to wait all day was 30 minutes for Maverick, everything else was 10-15 minutes and you were on (provided you didn't wait for the front seats). Another massive advantage is you skip the lines on the other thrill rides and 'lesser' coasters. My friends wanted to hit corkscrew, which had an hour wait but we walked right on. Same went for Mean Streak and Mantis (I vowed to never ride it again but I was with some first timers), rides which we probably wouldn't have done if we couldn't walk right on. We also walked right on to MaxAir, Windseeker, PowerTower, and Shoot the Rapids. Sure its a bit expensive, but well worth it when you think about not only how many rides you do, but how much you can just relax and enjoy your time at the Point.
I took my daughter to CP for the first time last summer towards the end of July. FP allowed her to ride every ride in the park as many times as she wanted in a single day. Absolutely made the hot crowded Tuesday the best day of summer for her. It would have been impossible to ride all of those rides once each between the hours of 10am-10pm.
