Famous Guest!!!!

Hey does anyone know if there was a famous guest that ever came to Cedar Point? Because I am thinking about going because I am famous. Thanks a lot!!!

Some famous people who were at the point last summer were: Macy Gray, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and some Cleveland Indians players.

Contrary to popular belief, Britney Spears did *not* make it to the park last summer! ;)
Also, Steve Case, CEO of America Online, came and stayed in the Presidential Suite.

I ran into Kid Rock the day he was there.. I talked to him for about 2 mins at the Red Garter when he went in for a beer.

I reminded him of a gig he did at Roxxanes in Toledo back in 95 when I was the DJ. It was cool.

I'll find the pics from 95 and CP 2000 soon as I get the rest of my network finished.

I believe Rob Lowe and Monica Lewinsky were also there this past season. I was there the day Monica Lewinsky was taped riding the carousel and MF.

Rob Lowe came too this past summer- I was working when he rode MF... also Steve Austin came my last day to ride MF, but I am not a wrestling fan... so I didn't know who he was (sorry to all you fans out there)... a football player from the Titens came too... but honestly I don't remember his name... *** This post was edited by MFMelissa #3 on 2/18/2001. ***

When Macy Gray was riding MF, she got stuck on the lift for a few minutes!! I was working that day! :)

Mrs Cigar I mean Lewinsky was there shooting footage for a show based on american pastimes as I recall...

Some Famous people I have met at CP: Rob Lowe, Kid Rock, Omar Vizquel(from the Indians), Carl Banks(super bowl champ with Giants, and later played for the Browns), Alanis Morisette.

Famous look alikes I have seen at CP: Stone Cold and Marilyn Manson(both looked very real, but weren't)

You can tell if the person is really who they look like if they are beong escorted around the park by someone from the Marketing Department. Anyone not escorted is either nuts, or not who they look like.

I forgot about Lewinksy... I was getting off Mantis when I ran into Frank as he was coming off break. He told me she was up at the carousel. I ran out to my car to get a cigar to see if I could get an autograph.

Would have been the centerpiece of my "How many more days of Clinton must we go through?" website.

Stone Cold was there in August sometime I believe. I was working Antique Cars that day lol. There are pictures of that floating around somewhere...he definitely had people escorting him.

Stone Cold was NOT there this year he was a fake. Keep in mind that the park does not like to broadcast the fact that there are famous guests in the park. If the news media gets wind of it, the story blows up in the parks face the story goes from being about the park to about the guest.

i remember a few years ago,alice cooper was spotted there.

Dan, it was Stone Cold. How do I know this??? Well, I am a die hard WWF fan. Last event here in Y-town at the Beelgy Center (sp?) I got his autograph when he came back out after his match to drink beers for the fans. In August while waiting in line for MF he was being escorted to the station through the exit. After he got off we were by the unloading station. We rode and left, but when we walked out he was there with a swarm of peeps. I got his autograph and shook his hand. That night I compared the autographs, they were identical!
