Famous Dave's is open!

There was a sign on the lawn by the old Chi-Chi's building.....I think thats what was in that building. Its very close to Chipotle also, across from it on Lorain Road would be a Speedway gas station. There is also a big shopping center that has Marc's CompUSA and a lot of other stores. And if you take Brookpark Road all the way till it ends, you will make a left hand turn, and it will probaby be right there to your left. I don't know but they may consider it a part of Great Northern Shopping Center. Its kinda hard to explain. Anyway, it looks like they just put the sign up within the last few days because there is no work done to any building or anything, I have no idea if they will be taking that old building down and making a new one, or just renovating the old one. *** Edited 7/10/2004 2:50:13 PM UTC by randinator***

I worked at that CompUSA once upon a time. Good thing Chipole wasn't around back then.

Some friends and I ate at Dave's July 5th. Can't remember what time it was. We all were very impressed with the experience! Food was great(and plentiful), and service was as good. I got the "rib tips" platter for $9.99. Couldn't get over how much was on the plate when they brought it out!

Will definitely be going back again!

Stopped by on July 2 and sat at the bar. We all loved the "decor" inside, especially the "vintage stuff" underneath the bar countrers. We had some beers and some rib samplers, very tasty. I'm glad they finally did something with the depressing "cafeteria-style" seating in the Boathouse.

Will this restaurant be open year round?

Didn't want to start a new topic, the Famous Daves in North Olmsted was scheduled to open this weekend. So im sure it did open. Just wanted to let you guys know.

I ate at the one at the Cedar Point Marina yesterday. Excellent food and EXCELLENT servirce! The bill?

91 bucks for 5 (2 were kids).

It better be excellent for that kind of money.

When i was there a few weeks ago on a Friday night, we ordered the feast for two. NORMALLY this is very good, but ours came out cold... TWICE.... and the server switched my diet coke for regular... I just about hurled.

I've never had poor service at the one near my house.
