Eye spy - CP Fun Guide

Ok kiddo's, it's getting close to that time where I feel like Charlie Brown checking his mailbox for a valentine. Only, I'm checking for the CP Funguide!! Has anyone received their copy yet? In years past, this was mailed to me in late February.

I can't wait to open up to the park map page, and see the big blue monster sprawlled across the map!

How do you get a Funguide mailed to you?
Usually, about this time of year, I see the smaller pamphlet that CP sends out. The Fun Guide usually comes end of March or first of April I believe depending on how on-schedule the Marketing department is. Calling 1-800-Best-Fun will score you a beautifully collectible 2k Fun Guide.

You won't receive anything from them until sometime in April. I requested one on their website and it says they haven't even started to print them yet, and that it would be until sometime in April when they would start mailing them out.

Hey did anyone get a map in last years fun guide? Cause in 97 and 98 i remember getting a map in the mail but i didnt get one last year. and i was also wondering if u think they will put a map in this years fun guide
MFBoy,
They have had a map in every Fun Guide that I could remember (I have copies back to 1982)

Dan,
I usually end up with at least 2 copies (one for me and one for my roomate) and my mother usually gives me her copy, so if you want I'll send you one.

Another way to get a fun guide is from 1-800-BUCKEYE. I'm like Dan I live too close to Cedar Point. I remember in 1998 I called 1-800-BUCKEYE for summer tourist info. When I got the pack it in the mail there was a 1998 Cedar Point Family Getaway Guide. Then I called again for another pack it, and there was no Cedar Point fun guide put a PKI fun guide. Also another way to get one is to go into the lobby of the Sandcastle or Breakers and ask for one. If you do that then they'll ask you for your zip code. I told them mine and I got one. But this was 4 years ago. The funny thing is that called for one and they asked for my zip code, when I told them they said that I lived too close. LOL. I live in Lorain. I got the guide from last year on an Ebay auction.

1-800-BUCKEYE is Ohio's Tourism Bureau what did you expect to get from them, The Ohio Book comes out every year. There are other things in Ohio to do then Cedar Point. Read the Book, you'll learn all kinds of new things. :)
I received a little card in the mail requesting that I return part of the card to receive a fun guide in April.

I usually get 2, one that I take the map out of, and one I keep to add to my mint condition of fun guides.
I have never been able to figure this out either. Over the past few years I have called BESTFUN and received the CP Fun Guide. I have called BESTFUN and been suprised to get the Ohio Pass in the mail. I have called 800 BUCKEYE and received an Ohio Pass and a CP Fun Guide and sometimes I have just gotten the Ohio Pass. The same goes for other people I know here who have called the same numbers.

I had to correct the address anyway, so I just returned the half-card.
No, that's just if you want to have a friend receive one as well.
I think CP_genius is right - they want you to return the card with your name & address to confirm you're still interested. There is another section to fill out if you want to have a copy sent to a friend.
Yeah, when I got it, I read it over to make sure I was supposed to send it back.
I remember reading the card as "Hey, you'll be receiving your fun guide soon". I don't recall having to send anything back.

I'm fairly certain that I didn't even keep the card, so if anyone has one in front of them that they can quote verbatim, would be appreciated (although I typically call 1-800-BEST-FUN anyway.
