Explorer Rest and Recreation

Hey!

I'm planning on taking a Memorial Day trip from May 26-28. I can't quite afford a Breakers stay this time around, but I see the old Mecca motel on Cleveland Rd was recently renamed to Explorer Rest and Recreation and completely updated and remodeled with a super cute retro theme and was leaning towards a stay there. Has anyone else stayed there who can give me their opinion on what the place is like?

It has been completely renovated and redone. The rooms are cozy (read: very small) but the fixtures are new and on my one night there everything was immaculate as far as cleanliness. If all you need is a place to crash after a long day(s) in the park, it's perfect.
