Expected Wait Time for MF

Hey, all.  I'm from Utah and am going to CP on a Tuesday in the middle of July.  Assuming MF is open that day, how long of a wait am I expecting?  What time of day is best for it?  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Well its hard to tell, Because of the new ride and everything. Also there may be the Ticket to Ride thing again. With Ticket to ride, and hour. With out it maybe and 1 and a 1/2 to 2 hours? I don't know its hard to say, Let see what other people have to say about it.

On a Tuesday in July, I would probobly expect a hour or so max. but I haven't been there until Thursday this year so with Wicked Twister it may be different.

I'd say 1 hour to 1and 1/2 hours but they might try and say it's longer to scare some people off

It depends on so many things (weather, number of trains running, etc). I wouldn't expect the line to exceed an hour with three-train operation. With two-train operation, it could reach one and a half. However it is almost always three trains in the summer.

Also, with the new "FreeWay" system, you can get a hand stamp for one ride in a one hour time block. You should only have to wait 15 minutes with this.

July? July is crazy... you might get on in an hour... but I have seen 2 and a half then too... just dont get in line from like 11-3... that is the busiest usually... the earlier or later the better surrounding those times is best...

I know it's busy in the summer for MF, but what about this Monday (when everybody is in school, and the weather is ok)....what should I expect? A walk-on, or what?...at least it will be shorter than summer, I'm sure of that! :)

In May or early June I would normally expect 30-45 minutes, but they've been having issues with three train operation so with two trians, probably 45 to an hour would be about what to expect. MF might have a 45 minute wait while other rides in the park are walk-ons. Use your brain and don't wait during the busiest part of the day when you can be getting many rides on other coasters.

Wow, really? Well, I hope I get an okay wait time...I have promised myself to ride MF like 6 times in a row without stopping. I'll be going Monday, May 20th and get there as soon as it opens. I'll prob. hit Raptor first since it's so close, then over to Wicked Twister, then over to MF..then after that, all the other rides and coasters. Hopefully that early on a weekday morning, it won't be too heavy for MF. Any predictions?? :)

Better strategy would probably be to hit WT or MF first and save Raptor for the late afternoon. But on a May weekday when its likely to be real cold, you might have real small crowds and you can ride whatever you want, whenever you want. I'm going Tuesday and Wednesday so here's hoping! :)

Sweet! Yeah, it should be kinda chilly on Monday, but that just means less people! OMG, I can't wait!! That park is gonna be like my own personal playground!! I was gonna go on the 13th, but mother nature decided to have a day of PMS. LOL! ;)

Even on a Tuesday? I could see it maybe get up to 2 on a Saturday with three trains, but I can't see it getting that long on a Tuesday. Of course you would probably know more than I would since you worked on the ride... I definitely agree about avoiding 11-3 though.

This Wednesday I was there with school, and I thought it was rather crowded. An hour 15 for MF, 45 min for WT, and there weren't that many busses there.

Millenium Force was one and a half hour wait when i passed it by wednesday.I think it was reaching 2 hour waits . Plus the yellow train is not being used. so its only 2 trains.

I think the proper question here should be will MF be operating on a tuesday in the middle of July... She wasn't doing too well today ;) However, I'm sure most of the problems will be worked out by then.

Don't forget Freeway too! Even with it not being that busy on the 16th, I saw people with their time stamps for the Force. If you check out the MF line by 11 and it's too long for you to wait, you can get a Freeway stamp and come back during your assigned hour. You will be let in through the handicap access and then "merged" into the line.

Same with WT.

The amount of trains running has so much effect on the wait time. That is why you are seeing relatively long waits these days.

Well, thanks for all the help! I think I've narrowed it down to less than 3 hours....haha....at least it doesn't compare to the usual wait for X....I went to SFMM last week, and the line for X was about an hour. Not bad at all. Every other ride was a walk on. Can't wait for CP. It has been hyped up so much, I'm sure it will rule!! See ya there!

It was 45 minutes yesterday and it was freezing cold, so you could probably double that at least.
