Exit Passes - What are they?

What are exit passes? My family stayed at the park this past weekend, are platinum passholders and were offered 4 sets of exit passes via email due to the water issue, etc. (Thanks CP!!) - but I have no idea what they are? Fast Lane?

You walk up the exit ramp and board the ride immediately. It's the fastest way to get a ride, no waiting at all in any type of line.

You should get to enter the ride up the exit avoiding the line. Unless specifically noted, it's any ride, any time.

Unless there's a time limitation on them, I'd wait and use em on a day when it's really, really, busy.

That's excellent compensation for pass holders. That's way beyond what I would expect. I thought they would just give a coupon to eat somewhere in the park or to use on merchandise. Hopefully there aren't too many people using those passes today when I'm at the park.

Wow! Those are sweet! I would use them for the longest lines like Maverick or Millennium.

Sort of similar to lineskippies (tweetups) but going to the exit instead.

I presume you had to stay at the resorts for those. We were there but stayed off the island. Oh well!

I didn't receive exit passes either and stayed at Lighthouse point (campground) those days.

Sounds great! We stayed at Breakers but had other issues while we were there, other than just the water main break. My husband sent an email when we got home to someone at Breakers/Cedar Point about the issues and that was how they handled it. I am very grateful that Cedar Point stepped up for us. :-)

2 Saturdays ago we were heading back into the park after a quick trip to our car back in the Soak City lot and a random manager type employee stopped us and gave us a 4 pack of exit passes. 1st time we'd heard of them. We used them that night for Maverick. It felt like we were going in a secret VIP entrance because they had us go up the elevator in the employees only section hahaha.
We saw a lot of them being used earlier in the day for TTD before we even knew what they were. While waiting in the station, probably 20 plus people were in seats when coming in to the station in just a short period of time that we were waiting there. I know that parent swap guests enter that way too, but they were giving the ride ops white slips so it had to be exit passes.

At the park yesterday I saw numerous people using exit passes. On at least 5 rides I went on during the day I was asked by a ride op to wait one more train so somebody else could go.
