My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting him at the Coasterbuzz podcast on the last day last season. He shook our hands and thanked us for comming...lol He made a comment about my girlfriend wearing a Ben Roethlisberger jersey but I was so nervous I can't remember what he said. He was very kind and let us have our picture taken with him. I had that on my desktop background for a long time after that. I also just saw him on opening day hanging around Skyhawk, always smiling. Just a great person and we will miss him.
First meant him two years ago coming off Magnum and have talked many times since then; most recently on Opening Day during Skyhawk ceremonies along with Marcy Kaptur about turning our local area in the correct direction. He's a good guy and really nice to talk to, plus its great to know the CEO knows me by face, even if he doesn't know my name.

I saw him once. I was waiting by Sky Ride for admittance to the park on opening day '04. Someone else in the mass of people recognized him and called out to him. He was obviously in a hurry, but he took the time to turn, wave and say, "Hi! Thanks for coming!" It seems kind of gay, but seeing him and recognizing that small connection to his customers made me respect him even more and, obviously, was a highlight of that trip.

A.C.E. couldn't handle me!
As others have stated, we saw him Last Saturday on opening day at CP.
We went yesterday to opening day at GL and saw him again. It's pretty funny that his name tag just says "Dick" on it. It's not fancy at all, just a plain ole name tag with his name on it.
I think we should have a golden name tag made for him as a retirement gift.

Maybe there's two of him ;)...he was at GL at around 3 or 4 walking with Bill Spehn and a few others. What time did you see him in VF?Unless he has a Leer jet you may have been mistaken.
Would have been 10-11AM central, so there is time for a flight from MSP to CLE for the afternoon visit.
It definatly was Mr. Kinzel and he was with a couple of others that I did not recongize.
