It is used when special groups of people are allowed in the park early and have certain times that the can ride certain rides normally with a reduced wait time. These things are very good. CP had the Joe Cool Club which I wish I would have taken advantage of because that got ERT.

Yes, ERT is Exclusive Ride Time, and it doesn't neccessarily mean letting a group in early to the park, it can be any time (at Coastermania, there is both morning and evening ERT). All it means is that a certain group (Joe Cool members, Coastermania participants, etc) gets a ride/rides set aside for only them in a certain period of time.
