I've got a stupid question for the employees. Do any of you guys know if Eminem has visited Cedar Point in recent years? I was just at the Anger Management concert in Detroit a week ago and it really put me in an Eminem mood which made me wonder about this. I mean he lives in Detroit, so it's pretty close to CP. I guess this question could be for anyone else too. Sorry mods if this isn't an appropriate new topic.
August 12th, 2005- Eminem and Lil Jon concert at Comerica Park.....I was right at the stage! 50 Cent sprayed water on me, Eminem was an inch away from touching me, and when the concert was over I walked outside and met Lil Jon's Eastside Boyz!
Unfortunately he is not retiring. I apologize those those who like him, but does it really take any talent to get on stage and do a bunch of pointless swearing and talk about beating up his ex-wife, or women in genral?
Broken, Fixed, Given up, Thrown Away "nine inch nails"
He has more talent than you think. He has a sound about him and an ability to rhyme faster than most other artists with a funny sound that nobody can even come close too. That is why he appeals to so many. I am not a fan but, I can see why so many probably are. Not to mention when he does come up with a rhyme, they usually have meaning behind them asside from most others that just talk about their cars and girls..
just my take.
I do not know if he as ever been to the park..
i could afford to rent it for the day I am sure.
I feel most sorry for his daughter. She's got a drug-addicted father who is never home and is a product of a broken home.
It's sad, really.
Listen to "Sing for the Moment" and "Lose Yourself" and tell me he is not talented as an artist. Those are just a couple of his many good songs he has out there. He is one of the few rappers I will tolerate because he actually has **GASP** good lyrics! It sickens me the kind of crap that is released that has no merit being produced whatsoever.
A lot of his darker stuff he has done has been done in response to the controversy that some of his earlier work created. It's funny how all these groups were going ballistic over how well his stuff was selling. Yet, by them making a big deal about, it just lead to more records being sold.
It's rather similar to the whole GTA: San Andreas hidden patched sex thing. Go ahead, Johnny, beat that hooker to death...What's that?...You can have your character have sex?! Oh the humanity!! Morons.
I heard from someone that Eminem was in the back of the park last year walking around alone, but I find that hard to believe since I would assume he would be mobbed without an entourage.

Wow, I didn't mean to make a topic on just Eminem. I just wanted to know if he's been to Cedar Point recently.....

I love how the topic goes from did Eminem ever visit Cedar Point to he is a bad drug addicted father...How the hell did that happen:P
3 Rollbacks- 2 back to back front row -dead serious- IT WAS THE SH*T!!!!!
He's no worse than his wife (who is dirtier than Raptor's gum wall by the way).
And people get addicted to prescription drugs all the time, its like celebrities are supposed to be immune to it or something.

"Sing for the Moment is thee worst song ever created because he stole the music from AEROSMITH's "Dream On"
He didn't "steal" he sought premission from Aerosmith and if I remember correctly they were all for him using it(of course Aerosmith most likely gets a nice check in the mail from it too).
"Sing for the Moment is thee worst song ever created because he stole the music from AEROSMITH's "Dream On"
And if you simply hate music because it was "stolen" from a previous artist, then your music collection must be very, very small...

And superior
Now that is just not right... music is subjective, like almost everything else. I get sick and tired of people who like older music thinking that ALL new music is total crap...
I could say that techno is superior to your "old" music (which I believe to be true), but that is my opinion and shouldn't be stated as factual.
