"Edge of Seventeen" movie?

Has anyone seen this movie? It's on TV right now and it says that it was filmed in 1998. Its just starting so I really have no idea what its about, but the main characters work at Cedar Point. But, in the movie, its called "Crystal Shores". They're really filming the entire thing in the park though. Its sorta fun to see all the coasters and stuff. (and see how different it is now from when they filmed the movie!!)

i've herd it's a good film. "coming of age" in a difficult culture...

Haha! that's why i think so many gay guys work here. I saw the movie a while ago and ..it wasn't that good but none the less CP was in it... And..yes it's a gay movie...

What station or whatever did you see this movie on??

it was on LOGO. cable channel. www.logoonline.com

My boyfriend owns the movie, and we watched it about a week ago. I got all excited when I saw the CP skyline. Then he started to make fun of me for my obsession of Cedar Point. Anyway, did anyone else notice that it was set in 1980's, and yet you could still see rides and coasters that were built in the 90's. It wouldn't think it would be that hard to edit them out. Then again how many people would now just by watching the movie that those rides didn't exsist in the time frame of the movie? Well other than those of us that know and love the park.

I did think it was a good movie, it brought back some memories. I haven't been to the park in 3 yrs, I was stationed in Bahrain. I'm gonna be at the park July 20th for the first time since '02.

TTDcrew05 ... I realized that A LOT of the guys working at CP are gay too. lol. Everyone that I had talked to on the 3rd sounded like he was.

Anyways...I'm definately going to go and rent this movie!

"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"

CP was really only in the beginning. It just sets the scene for the movie and gives the characters a reason for meeting. I'd say the majority of it didn't take place in the park. But, regardless, it was still a good movie.

It was fun seeing Raptor in a movie set in 1984 too. :-)
