Hey everyone,
I have put some old promotional poster/calendars up on ebay, with more to come. I just thought I would point you guys toward them, I mean, it's only fair, right? :)
I only have one Magnum (from 1990) and it's got some blemishes in it, but it's still a really nice poster.
Here's a link to the posters:
I recongnize that picture on the second Raptor promo calender; it is actually hanging in a nice frame in, I believe it is the first conference room on the right side of the hallway in Park Ops. Sorry, saw it, recognized it, and had to point it out.
Of course, it is probably in a few other places throughout Sandusky, like in hotels. I think I may have seen that in the Sleep Inn as well.
Oh, pretty good posters. :) *** Edited 10/3/2006 2:48:59 AM UTC by BlueStreak64***

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I just realized that I have a ton of CP promotional and press stuff just laying around, most of it just odd stuff like signs and a few press kits. If anyone knows of anything specific you want, let me know and I'll see if I've got it.
I'll be listing some more stuff up there over the course of today, including some photo and video equipment that some of you might find beneficial on your visits to CP. :)
Thanks for checking them out, guys. I'm happy to see them going to people who will actually take care of them.
If anybody has any old Point maps or brochures for sale, I'm always interested.

I have a 1996 or 1997 brochure for the park and the resorts that I found the other day. Rooms at Breakers were under $100!
I couldn't believe it at all. It looked like it was so inexpensive 10 years ago. They were selling family packages for what they now charge for 1 night.
Wow, good timing... I just started to collect these things. I only have 3, but all of these would add quite nicely.
Cedar Point Lifer, RideOp, Now Park Guest

2009 - ATL Raptor

^ Awesome. Get yourself a couple of really nice frames and proper lighting, and you've got yourself a nice little gallery going on. :)
Then you take a trip to Kinkos and get your pictures blown up to be posters to add to that gallery collection.... or is that just me? :)

The biggest reason I'm selling all this stuff is to fund my new still camera, to be honest.

Many of the auctions are ending today, but I will have a "special" auction to put up later this evening.
It's a highly sought after item that I had to put a lot of thought into whether or not I should sell, but I'm sure someone will find more use for it than me. :)
Well, actually there's 2 like that, but one is my current camera, which I may keep as a backup.

I finally got a Maverick CD-ROM, in fact, I somehow ended up with 2. I bid on one that I figured I wouldn't win, then later on I saw a buy it now one for $25 so I bought it. The next day I won the other auction. I'll probably sell one of them.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Hmmm...I may consider that HandyCam. I need a video camera, and I would ideally like a DVD camcorder, but, that HandyCam may do the trick.

Well like I said before, it would be nice to see all of the stuff go to people who will take care of it.
Since we're on the subject of taking care of things. How many of you would be interested in this?
It's going to be tough to part with because I really like it, but oh well.
