East of chicago pizza

Does cedar point operate the east of chicago pizza next
to the breakers express or have partnership with the restaurant?

I don't think there's any relation.

Supposedly they own the land, but I don't know the truth to that rumor.

What I know about that place is that the pizza blows.

^ East of Chicago pizza is some of the best pizza ever. Of course, with Chet and Matt's less than 5 minutes away, why bother?

It's no Donatos ;)

The EoC pizza buffet is a good deal when you want to just get away from the park for a few minutes. It's a little cheaper than heading over to the best pizza place on the planet (Chet and Matt's), too.

I've been under the impression that the land is owned by Cedar Fair, but I don't know if CF operates the franchise or not.

CP owns the land, the franchise leases it from them. The buffet is awesome, and I love their pizza. Not sure if it's a well known fact, but a season pass gets you the same discout CP employees get. Basically you pay $6.99 for the buffet with a drink, whereas it would normally cost you $8 and something for the buffet with a drink.

Quick question; If you don't have a parking pass and want to leave for lunch at a place like this, do you have to pay to park a second time or can you use your parking ticket to get back into the lot for free?

Well, if you mean a parking pass on your season pass or the sticker on your car, you can go in and out as many times in a day as you please. If you paid for parking, you may get back in for free ONCE a day with the stub they give you.

Like Ralph said, East of Chicago is a real deal if your a season pass holder. Get a dollar off your meal plus a $2 drink for free. Thats a $3 savings just by showing your pass (almost enough for a gallon of gasoline).

With CP's expensive food, I eat a big breakfast and then go there around 3 in the afternoon and thats it for the day. Pizza isn't too bad, not the best but its cheap.

CP owns the building also. When it first opened, it was a Hardees restaurant operated by Cedar Point. Hardees lasted for a few seasons, then the change was made to Coasters. Not sure why it was changed. Coasters must have not done too well, as it was closed and the building was leased to East of Chicago.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I didn't know season pass holders got a discount!! Thanks for the info!!

It use to be my favorite pizza a few years ago. Dont care to much for it anymore.

Pete, was "Coasters" the same thing as the "Midway Grill?" That's what I had always heard it was called.

Went there today and ate like a pig. They got good pizza, lots of pop, and great dessert pizza.
