Early Season Pass arrived

My 2002 Season Pass arrived today.  Changes from last year -- the "P"arking indicator is a different color, and the background has a small "2002" repeating pattern in it instead of a solid block.

Otherwise, it's the same layout as last year.

If you took advantage of Cedar Point's offer to renew your 2001 pass through the mail, you should be getting it soon.

I got my season pass cupon like things that I have to turn in and get my card about 2 weeks ago. I was surprised how fast they got here because I dont live close to sandusky (buff).

Yeah, I got my pass in the mail on Friday the 25th. This is very cool because I waited in a 3 hour long line last year on opening day to get my pass. This year I'll just walk right in! ;)

Greg(among others who sent their stuff in), do you get your old pass back? I kinda like to collect my old passes(which isn't a big deal if I don't get it back, I would rather not get last year's pass back than stand in a long line...).

You don't send your old pass in, just the form. The picture of you is stored on their computer from last year.

As Joe said, you don't send in your old pass.  Just the completed form (URL above) and your season pass (and parking and Joe Cool, if applicable) voucher(s).

Being I have a combo pass this year and a moveable parking pass, and I didnt last year, Im nervous on sending mine though the mail. I think I will go the old fashion way.  If anyone has a different pass from last year and sent theirs in...can ya tell me if everything went alright?

Thanks for the info Greg! I plan on mailing (certified) our vouchers in soon. Only thing is don't need mobile parking pass since b/f will have his own. I will still have to stop at pass office before OD to get parking sticker. I know Ive mentioned this before but the season pass trip for my daughter and I was a yearly thing we both enjoyed, so going up there for just the parking sticker will still give us that "pre-CP" bonding trip. (Oh yea and of course stopping at Hardees in Bucyrus a MUST for us!! :))
Season hasn't even started and I've already logged 1 CP trip last Friday. Oh-did I say CP trip? Nah I didn't! ;)

My pass arrived today (1/31) I sent it about 3 weeks ago, so not too bad, at least I don't have to stand in line.

I got my pass today, sent it certified mail on Thrursday, January 24, so it didn't take much time.  Only 91 days, 18 hours, 38 minutes, 5 seconds until I can use it!

Whenever I click on the link above to renew my 2001 season pass in the mail it doesn't find the page. When I click on the link to renew it through the mail that's on CP web page it also doesn't find the page. I have adobe, and I don't know what the problem is. If any one can help me please do.

I ordered a Cedar Poin 2002 funday ticket online and got it last week.Do you think it is possible to return the ticket and get my money back?I ask because I should have bought a season pass instead.I will buy a season pass but I just wanna know if I can get mymoney back for the ticket I bought,Anyone ever do this before? Input on this is greatly appreciated....:)

If you have a really good friend, give the ticket to them. Heck, bring them along to the park with you. I've paid the way for a number of my friends over the years. All of them have been very appreciative. Doing someone a good turn can have more value than you may ever realize.
