When is the earliest you can go to Hotel Breakers to register on Friday? My flight lands in Cleveland around 0840 in the morning. Anyone have any information? I called the hotel and they said they have me down for an early registeration, but I have a gut feeling not this early.
Since their normal check in time is 4 PM I'd probably call and find out what they consider "early" check in.

Ride on, MrScott!
You can check in anytime. They just might not have your room available until later in the day, so you'll have to go back to get into your room and drop stuff off (or leave it with the bellhops and they'll put it in your room).
I also just noticed you said Halloweekends. Are you coming in on Friday or Saturday? Friday, you probably won't be able to check in until late afternoon/evening anyway as the park isn't open till 6.

I went last year and stayed at Hotel Breakers. I got there around 2:00pm and had no trouble getting in the room and situated before heading to the park at opening.
Ahhhh, Halloweekends.
As much as it sucks that it means the park is closing soon, I love halloweekends. There's nothing like the feeling of the cold, sometimes rainy weather, the cloud cover, wearing a hoodie and some jeans. I love it.
I also LOVE staying up there during those times, it's just such a good feeling to go in from the cold and watch TV for an hour or so.
Last year I ended up going dual hoodie at night. The wind was just biting off the lake.

Oooh, dual-hoodie. Damn.
Sounds like a job for the new fake fur lined hoodies that are starting to come in at Abercrombie.
Even with a discount, I've never wanted to drop $100 on one.
I've been to the Point on several Halloweekends. However, my flight is coming in extremely early, as I mentioned early. I am hoping I have somewhere to lay my head for at least an hour or two, before my appointment at the Spa at Castaway Bay. I talked to someone at reservations and they said they had me down as an early arrival, but for some reason, I think their is going to be a snag.
What a rip-off. I'd rather buy two and wear them that way than get bent over at A&F.

I work for a hotel. Not a CP hotel, but a hotel. This is just my opinion on the matter. If we have someone request an early check in, we will check them in when they arrive. Whether it's 8am or 1pm, if there room is clean, they can have it.
The only thing I tell people when they request an "early" check in, is that if we are sold out the night before, the guests in the rooms do not have to be out until 12noon. Once they are out, we have to clean the room. So if someone checks out early and the housekeepers can clean it, you can get in early.
I highly doubt the Hotel Breakers will be sold out on Thursday night, because the park is not open on Thursday night. I predict you will be able to check in as early as you need. :) :)
The dilemma, as mentioned above, is that Hotel Breakers, like Cedar Point, is not open Thursday. So it's unlikely you'll be able to drive back there and register Friday morning.
I would also like to know the answer to this question, since I'll be doing an early registration on Friday, closing weekend.
Unfortunately, I suspect if you called Breakers right now, they may not have an accurate answer for you. I suggest you wait until Bonus Weekends begin in September, then give them a call. They'll probably have many others wondering the same thing...

what you mean register? Can you just call the hotel and tell them what time you will be there.

No, all they do is put down that you will be arriving early. The hotel told me, that it really should not be a problem because they actually last year started letting people in around 1 pm. I will be there at least by 10 am.
That's where the problem is. You're probably better off going up to the mall for a few hours and come back around 2 or 3. The parks don't open till 6, and I doubt the hotels will be open before 1 or 2.

The workers at the booth where you pay for parking will not let you back there until 1pm, thats from past experiences.
