Early Entry Clarification

CP's site says:

"Guests with a Gold Pass with All Park Passport, Cedar Point Prestige Pass or Prestige Pass with All Park Passport who are not staying at a Cedar Point Resorts property"

Is that ANY Gold Pass? Meaning my KI pass with all park passport gets early entry access as well?

From the wording I don’t know how it could not be. If it didn’t say All Parks Passport, and just Gold Pass then maybe there’d be an issue. I have Prestige with All Parks purchased at CP, but I’ve used it at KI for early entry and ride time. The smartest thing to do, in all cases, is to check.

Yes, A gold pass with the all parks passport will get you early entry into Cedar Point no matter what your home park is.

It looks like that statement is referring specifically to Gold Passes that include the All Park Passport, which allows access to all Cedar Fair parks. Since your Kings Island (KI) Gold Pass has the All Park Passport, it should qualify you for early entry access at Cedar Point, even if you’re not staying at a Cedar Point Resorts property

All parks passport and prestige pass works only for entrance at the main gate. Only resorts and marina guests may use the other gates for early entry.

Sure is a good thing they have made things so easy to understand and non-convoluted when it comes to passes, adds-on's, upgrades, bonuses, VIPs, perks, parks, passports, legacy, benefits, and prestigary.

What could go wrong, they overhaul the program every year to avoid minimum confusion.

Looks like the Gold Pass will no longer include Early Entry at Cedar Point starting in 2026. I actually think this is a really good move. Its weird that it looks like it will still be included with the gold pass at Kings Island though. They really need to figure out a way to be more consistent with this product across their parks! Particularly parks that are as close together as Cedar Point and Kings Island.

The gold pass didn't offer early entry in 2025, either, unless you also had the "All Parks Passport" tacked on; but I get what you're saying. Now "Golds" are denied altogether.
