Early Entry - Finally

This is the first time, early entry went according to Cedar Point's planned itinerary for 2019. All rides were open "On Time" as promoted by Cedar Point in 2019 on the 19 visits I have been there this year.

That is good and that is bad. It is good it finally happened after 19 visits but it is bad it took this long.

Everything opened as it was supposed to open, without testing taking until 9:30 or 10:00.

This is something that should happen regularly rather than irregularly.

It is a big perk that Cedar Point advertises but it only achieves at about 15% of the time.

If I was a stock broker and promoted what Cedar Point promotes, I would be in a federal penitentiary.

I get it, rides need maintenance. I get it rides break down, but there is very little effort on Cedar Point's part to rectify the situation.

Did Cedar Point ever call in carpenter crews this season in the middle of the night to work on Steel Vengeance and shore up the supports.

No, if so there would have been flood lights all over that thing from Opening day.

Cedar Point does not realize that not having the ride functioning as advertised is a determent to the park.

People get upset that the park does not operate as promoted and then Cedar Fair wonders why the parking lot is not as packed as it should be.

Hello, people do not come back.

The hotel, RV Sites, and cabins are sold out, that makes the bottom lines very healthy.
Hence why they’re adding lodging to the other big parks.
Now they need a replacement for sandcastle on point.

Less people spending more makes for a better park experience.

I agree, Cedar Point needs to add to where Sandcastle was once at.

Not a ride but hotel / resort.

cottages with a walk out onto a sandy beach.

Where you can rent a wake board, kayaks, and jet skis for entire day for your family at a reasonable price.

North Coast Parasail and deliver those units to your cottage for the day helping to add to the bottom line for Cedar Point.

A Place No Other!

Let's see Disney or Universal do that, oh they can't because they are not on a peninsula.

And to add onto the resort bit, how about some sailboats to rent?

Sailboats would be awesome, add them.

It would help to enforce "A Place Like No Other Campaign".

Did the supports need shored up? I thought it was the incorrect wheel assembly.

Combination of both, the wheel assemblies were fixed rather quickly, where the carpenter work had to be done all over the structure so that took a lot longer to complete.
