Earlier Rumors

If I remember, someone with the CP management said something about the 2002 ride (now Wicked Twister) being related to "how they followed up the Magnum".  Does anybody know the meaning behind that?  Another post mentioned that the names Mean Streak and Wicked Twister are similar, but is that what they really intended?

Wasn't Magnum.. it was Mean Streak...

Yeah, I wasn't really sure which one it was.  I just remembered the phrase and Magnum and Mean Streak being mentioned with it.

I suppose it could mean that after building the tallest coaster in the world twice (Maggie and Millie), they followed up with the tallest ride of a specific type. 

Mean Streak=tallest woodie

Wicked Twister=tallest impulse

Or could mean the placement. If I'm not mistaken Disaster Transport was enclosed after Magnum.

So I guess nobody really knows what they actually meant.  ddogg-I was thinking that too after seeing the DT enclosure was after Magnum.  Any comments from our fearless leader (i.e. Jeff)?

Maybe they're enclosing Mean Streak?

I think that they simply meant that they followed Magnum with more resort improvements and then, two years later with another rollercoaster.  After MF, they followed with resort improvements and now, two years later, another coaster.

It's been said before.. there is no "pattern set in stone"
