E-Coli?

My mom told me that my cousin's friend has received E-Coli and now died. Nobody is sure how he got it, but the doctors are saying that it was from Cedar Point, which he traveled to a week earlier. And this morning my mom said that she heard it on the news. Does anyone have any further information on this?
