Dual loading station?

Check out webcam #2.

Though i originally doubted this.. could there actually be the truth? I was looking at Webcam 2 and this struck me. If you notice, there seems to be footers for a station installed. I then noticed that they did not seem to follow the same slant as the multicolored launch track. This led me to believe that there would be one station for unloading and then another (slanted) station for loading and launching. Then i saw (as of 9pm on December 10) footers that seemed to be set in place that would line track up in almost the same exact direction the camera is facing. Its hard to explain but I think this could be a possibility. The trains would then roll through a switchback of sorts and then enter a straight inclined section of track where they would catch the sled. You would not actually be launched out of the station, but this could be perfect for a "dragster" theme or even something else.

To better explain my theory, this is sort of how the footers seem to line up.

| launch track
| where train boards sled.
X switchback
/ \ stations

i dont know if this is true but I'd love to hear your comments. this is much better to think and talk about than whether the ride is 415 feet or 415.27 feet or if another bolt has been added to the ride like 2 seconds ago!

(haha)

In other words, a station similar to X-Flight's. Interesting theory Ryan! It's hard to tell how they line up, but I think that would make sense and increase throughput.

And I agree with your last comment. I do think they are done adding bolts for the night! :)

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good launch.

I don't know maybe.But i still don't believe it is l-th-br
What would be the purpose of calling it Dragster if there are not two trains side by side as in real drag racing?
But, hasn't that already been done in the form of Gemini? Just an observation. Not to be a smartalec. Besides, Dragster is only a rumored project name. In reality, it has yet to be named.

The ride has already been named. The ride name has Yet to be ANNOUNCED.

Lets just hope that if it is a dual loading station like X flight at Six Flags, CP wont do the usual thing SF does. You know, only one station operating one train and run intervals of what seems 6-9 minutes! Which of course we know they wont.
I'm really hoping to launch from the station. I don't really know why, but rolling out of the station and then launching sounds a lot less thrilling than blasting off from inside the station.

this really would be a good idea, Both X-Flight and Air (Alton Towers) use a dual station and it works well. It also gives the ride crew a little bit of flexability during loading. The problem is it doubles the size of your crew. Depending on the number of ride-ops, this may not be acceptible to CP.

Also, with a dual station you could have 4 trains:
1 loading
1 unloading
1 ready to launch
1 screaming through the circuit!

if the dual station theory was true. there wouldn't be a separate loading and unloading station. both stations would do both functions.

ps. looking at the webcam todcay, it looks like my eyes were just playing tricks on me and i'm very doubtful if my dual station theory was true.

know i'm back to leaning towards the load station right after the unload station theory.
