Anyone else at CP before 6/27 noticed if the scenery on DT was visible? It was on wednesday and it was really cool!

Was the exploding Asteroid working?
I imagine the folks that tried to ride DT 80 times on the 26th would have seen them.

They don't air-condition the whole building, just the queues (if it's working) -- wow, can you imagine the expense? Sheesh. Not to mention the vents anyway, it would all leak out.

Do they have exaust(sp) fans anywhere in the ride? I have those in my upstairs and it sucks some of the heat out. If not they could use it.

I really only notice the heat during the lift hill and it's only because you're going so slow and the sun is beating down on a metal building...

There are vent fans in 2-3 places above the trough, but I don't know if the fans are used to help the heat or not. The biggest problem is that they're above the track itself so they let the rain in! At any rate, because the building is sheet metal (no insulation and it works just like an oven) it wouldn't really work to try to A/C it. It would be cool (no pun intended! :)) if they put extreme A/C in the final "Alaska" turn, that would be a neat touch.

Hey I think disaster Transport is gonna be changed or something when I went they had no black lights in the ques and the pics were gone from the wall maybe they will retheme ir.

The reason the black lights are not up is because of the Pharoah's Secret haunted house. There is black light paint on the walls (look close and you will see it), that is used for the haunted house.

Just visited mycleo.com andd this is what she said, Disaster Transport will be completely rethemed. It will be rethemed to the never before seen Sweedish bobsled. But, half way through the year, CP will decide it's not worth it and will just turn all the effects off.

CedarPoint!, I think that was just because they didn't want to hang all the pictures back up after taking them down from Pharaoh's Secret and neon lights are less costly than black.

When I went on the 23, there was no theme in room 1. I realized that DT is not a bad ride. I actually like the theme. I wouldn't mine them retheming it. The whole artic idea is cool. Somedaybaybe

You do notice the heat only during the lift hill. Isn't that where the big "overheating" sign is on top of the lift?
