I know that your going to Alaska on Disaster Transport but what is the whole problem? In other words, what is the Disaster?

This probably could have been posted in the other forum about Disaster Transport.

But to answer your question, someone “lost control” of your shuttle;)

The whole ride doesnt make sense to me.

If I remember its something about Space Pirates attacking your shuttle... but somehow you still arrive safely in Alaska... "the land of used 3-D glasses"....

Speaking of 3-D glasses, here is a good question - What on DT is in 3-D?

At the top of the lift hill you used to hear the robot (which looked like an odd version of C3P0...yes, they used to have working animotronics...it was actually very well done) scream that youre overheating and youre going out of control.

I liked when it said that.

"I'm losing control, I'm losing control....."

Which is actually mentioned on Cedar Point.com, Disaster Transport page.

From what I remember, you are boarding a Dispatch Master Transport shuttle that's flying from Sandusky to Alaska. On the launch you overheat and spiral out of control, also space pirates attack, it's an overall disaster! But in the end, you safely arrive in Alaska. I worked load for Disaster one day, I had a blast telling people to have a great flight, don't get too cold, and watch out for those pesky space pirates!

I miss the old themeing on Disaster Transport :(.

Haha... from a multi million dollar sci-fi enhancement of the ride to technicolor handprints that are "3-D"... What a shame... Mrs Kinzel just got so tired of that noisy Avalanche Run... or so the theory goes...

I worked DT for a few days and refused to say "welcome to alaska" like we're supposed to at the exit, because i got tired of too many people saying "since when were we going to alaska!?"

they need to make it consistent, either no theming or all theming.

You were going to alaska? See they have a good theme idea, why not elabirate on it? I mean... honestly. WE WERE GOING TO ALASKA?

That would be kind of sweet if theyd bring it back, wonder if they still have all the old theming?

Since they have not yet redone the theming it can mean only one thing.........They are going to tear it down and build a 500 footer right there on the coast!!! ;-)

I can't wait to ride the 500 foot coaster!!!

They're going to call it "Dispatch MAVERICK Transport" and theme it to an out of control stage coach.
