Drop off

What is the policy for parents wishing to drop off their kids at the park front gate with respect to parking and causeway fees? In other words, if you just want to drop off someone at the parks front entrance, do you have to pay the full parking fee, or is there some way to just come, drop off people and go quickly without paying parking?

Could this have someting to do with the reason Chet and Matts doesn't deliver to CP hotels?

Although I've never actually tried it, I believe you must pay the full parking fee if you wish to enter the parking lot. This is the same at most parks unless there is a designated drop-off area.

Used to be 50 cents for the causeway toll, but that was way back in the mid 90's.

You just tell them that you are dropping off, you have to pay the full toll, but as long as you come back with the receipt they will give you all but 50 cents back.

I know because my mom did that earlier this year, and I know many people that do it or used to before they drove.
